For this project, I’ll be 3D-printing and detailing a combat shotgun from the Fallout 4 game, as perfectly recreated in printable form by Power Up Props.
When I came across this object’s page on MyMiniFactory, I instantly knew that I had to print it. While far from my favorite weapon to actually use in the game, it’s design is easily among my favorites, especially with the stabilized stock. While this project’s print time far surpasses any other project, these were the easiest files to work with. There were just a lot of them.

Before sanding, left-right pieces are glued together and allowed to set.
Then, a baby-powder/superglue mix is used to fill in the gaps between the two pieces. Once the mix cures, each part is sanded.
I’m currently around half-way through this process.
